This series is set in the modern world, and earth is under attack from aliens in a mothership hovering above earth. The book is written in first person from several different points of view-predominantly Cassie’s, Evan’s, and Ben’s. Amidst all of this is Cassie, who is trying to find her five year old brother. The remaining humans trust no one they encounter. They struggle to form alliances and figure out the aliens’ motives and next move.
